1. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small record that a service you visit stores in your browser. Cookies can be used for different purposes, such as managing sessions, remembering preferences or tracking. Local storage and session storage can also save information in the browser; not being cookies does not make them unimportant for privacy.
This policy covers the Mesh Mekan website (meshmekan.com). For the session and file storage of the Mesh Mekan app (macOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, visionOS) on your device, the Privacy Policy applies; the app does not use browser cookies.
2. What does the site’s own code use?
The Mesh Mekan website pages do not create their own cookies, do not write preferences to browser storage and do not run advertising or analytics tracking.
| Category | Status in the site’s code | Name / duration |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary cookies | Not used | None |
| Preference cookies / local storage | Not used | None |
| Analytics / performance tracking | Not used | None |
| Advertising / marketing tracking | Not used | None |
| Third-party embedded content | No video, map or social media embeds | None |
Fonts, images and other page files are loaded from the site’s own address. Your browser caching static files is not a record created for advertising or user tracking.
3. What the hosting infrastructure does
The site is published as static files on Cloudflare Workers and served through Cloudflare’s network. Cloudflare may set its own technical cookies for network security and automated traffic (bot) protection; these are not created by Mesh Mekan’s page code, are not used for user tracking or advertising, and are described in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation. The table above covers Mesh Mekan’s page code; Cloudflare’s possible security cookies are not part of it.
That is why we do not say “no cookies are used at all” for the site as a whole: Mesh Mekan creates no cookies; the infrastructure provider may use strictly necessary security cookies. These cookies do not require consent (KVKK Cookie Guide, “strictly necessary cookies”).
4. How can you manage your choices?
You can view, delete or block stored cookies in your browser’s privacy or site data settings. Because there is no sign-in on the site, deleting cookies breaks nothing.
Because the site’s own code contains no tracking technology that requires consent, no “accept all” banner is shown. If analytics or advertising technologies that require consent are added in the future, they will not start before your choice is obtained; you will be able to refuse and change your choice later, and this text will be updated.
